What's Fibroblast Skin tightening?

Fibroblast skin tightening is the newest face-lift procedure causing a stir in the beauty industry.  Often called "Soft Surgery" because it delivers results similar to surgery, with no scalpel and little downtime.  It's minimally invasive cost a lot less.

A fibroblast treatment works by speeding up your skin's cellular regeneration. Here's how it works. The Plasma Pen device touches the skin’s surface and applies direct heat. The Plasma Pen's electrical impulses cause controlled trauma to your skin’s surface that will look like tiny dots where treated. The heat transfers into a layer of skin called the inner papillary layer. This is the layer of skin that contains your fibroblast cells.

Fibroblast cells are responsible for generating connective tissue. They help skin to recover from injury or trauma. The heat energy from the Plasma Pen, stimulates these fibroblast cells. Inside your skin begins to contract, tighten, tone and generate new cells after stimulation. The rejuvenation gives your skin a more youthful look because the process stimulates vital skincare compounds like collagen and elastin.

The number of treatments required will vary according to the skin's laxity, the condition being treated , the desired degree of correction and the individual's response to the treatment. Most client's see results instantly and this continues to improve over the course of the following 8-12 weeks. Further treatments can be carried out to increase results after 10 weeks.

What's a Jet Plasma Treatment?

Jet Plasma is the most advanced plasma technology used to brighten and tighten skin. Unlike the Fibroblast treatment Jet Plasma uses a cooler atmospheric temperature so that it does not create any trauma or dots on your skin's surface. That means there is no downtime plus the treatment is safe for all skin types along the Fitzpatrick scale.

With Jet Plasma, at the layer of skin called the dermis, the aged skin begins to tighten by balancing the membrane potential. Essentially, the treatment stimulates the circulation of water molecules, collagen and fibroblast cells that rejuvenate the youthful appearance of skin.

Here's how the treatment works. Jet Plasma sends electrical energy through your skin. The process kills the germs and acne-causing bacteria on your skin's surface. The sterilization is an added benefit to those of us who struggle with acne because it also curbs the production of oil by 25%.

Next the Plasma dramatically increases your skin's rate of absorption. This happens by temporarily shrinking the skin cells so that active ingredients can permeate deeper layers of the skin without surgical injections. At this stage, combining LED therapy and anti aging products can be extremely beneficial.

With Jet Plasma results are immediately visible after the first treatment. Studies have shown a 14.8% increase in skin density following a single treatment. Although 6 to 8 weeks after the first treatment your skin will continue to improve, you will notice the most results after 3 or more treatments.  This is because Jet Plasma stimulates the generation of collagen and fibroblast cells.

A non surgical treatment option - Jet Plasma is ideal to treat the face, acne, or inflammation. It can also help with lightening or hyperpigmentation.
